Buu Saga Plothole. Future Trunks' future has no Buu

Ever wonder why Trunks' future has no Majin Buu, Babadi or Dabura? Very troubling indeed seeing how Babadi scoped out the planet earth 300 years before arriving to revive Buu.

Well there wouldn't be any people left alive to absorb energy from. Makes sense to me

^ Agreed. In the present timeline he only managed to wake Boo up cause the Z fighters were "helping" him, without them it would much, much longer, especially in the future timeline where there are not so many people around.

Well, problem solved.

has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it.

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. :D
Now, there's an idea.

Considering the Majin Buu was considered the most destructive and unstoppable force in the universe, I doubt Babadi would cancel his plans on reviving his ultimate weapon.

There weren't enough people left on Earth to get the energy. Simple as that.

Babidi would've done everything in his power to revive Buu but by the time he gathered enough energy in Future trunks' time the series would've been over

Piccolo Daimao > Piccolo Jr.

Pelador has a point there, he dosen´t have any people or fighters to absorb, even if the earth is restored and has fighters again they only would be below 10 - 20 which is nothing, Trunks is the only fighter which he could absorb, but i doubt Trunks´s power would fill the energy bar.
Once upon a time, there used to be a signature. Then it got lame, and now I'm out of options for a new one.

Even in the future that timeline didn't even get to the point when Babidi arrived on earth.

Piccolo Daimao > Piccolo Jr.

The reason why the Buu Saga wasn´t there was because, at the time Toriyama made the Cell Saga, he didn´t even had the slightest intend to make the Buu Saga, so obviously the Buu Saga didn´t existed.

Another (funny) explanation:
Goku was dead in future timeline.
In present timeline after his death (Cell Saga), his decision was to remain in the other world. He also stated that he was responsible for every villain's appearance (dumb luck). When he appeared on earth, his actions (battle with Vegeta) mostly revived Buu.
Cell in future timeline used time machine to absorb androids in present (where Goku is alive).
In simple words no Goku no serious villain.

I suppose, but the explanation that there was just no suitable energy left on Earth is the most feasible.

MAGICAL GIRLS REPRESENT

Isn't there a game where Future Trunks' timeline has Buu?

Yes there is. Shin Budokai - Another Road.

Bulma and Trunks would've easily be killed by Buu in the future world and, correct me if I'm wrong, that the future wasn't even being mentioned after the Cell saga, probably for that reason.
